Proud to be a Christian and member of the Church of Christ. I know without a doubt my accomplishments have been His will and I would not have survived without the guidance of God.
Selected as Miss Wheelchair Arkansas (1979-80)
Worked for over 29 years at Mid-Delta Community Services, Inc., a local community action agency.
Honored as Employee of the Year (1985) at Mid-Delta Community Services, Inc.
Obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree at Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas (1985)
Volunteer for the Humane Society of the Delta as Web Site Coordinator.
Advocate for the rights of people with disabilities even before the Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990 was passed.
Served as a fundraiser for MDA and as Secretary to the Phillips County Muscle Committee for MDA.
Selected as the first recipient of the MDA Personal Achievement Award.
Appeared in 2 commercials for United Medical which aired statewide and various radio interviews and television vignettes.
